Beautiful traditional set with 2 chopsticks in wooden box. Hand sanded and clear lacquered. Very skilled needlework with an elegant look. The glitter on the sticks is from shells. The chopsticks are made by skilled craftsmen in Wakasa in Fukui Prefecture. Fukui is famous for its Ohashi production and these are called Wakasanuri bashi (chopsticks from Wakasa Fukui). They are made by a family business in the area. Material lacquered wood. Length 21 and 23 cm. Made in Japan.
